Essex's trusted,
ARB Approved tree surgeons.
Family-run tree surgery, hedge work, site clearance, consultancy and machine hire across Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
Local, accredited, and
here for the long run
Treecology has been caring for trees across Essex and the surrounding counties for over 20 years. We are one of a select number of UK tree surgery companies to hold ARB Approved Contractor status, a sought after accreditation held by fewer than 350 companies out of over 8000 nationwide, and every job is carried out to British Standard BS3998:2010.
We are a family run business, which means the person who quotes your job is often the person who manages the work. No call centres, no subcontracted crews you have never met.
What we do
From tree surgery and hedge work to full site clearance, our team covers the tree and land work most homes and sites need. Alongside that, we run a separate machine and plant hire operation, cherry pickers, diggers and a whole tree chipper, available with an operator.
How we work
We start with a free, no-obligation site visit or photo assessment, and give you straightforward advice on what actually needs doing, not just what we could charge you for. Every site is left as tidy as we found it, with all arisings removed unless you'd like to keep the wood or chippings for yourself.
Part of the Treecology Group
Treecology works alongside EnviroArb Solutions, our sister chartered consultancy company, for larger commercial surveys, planning support, legal advice, expert witness work and specialist airport tree safeguarding work. Wherever your project sits, there is a specialist within our Group who can help.
